SOUTHERN PACIFIC BURRO

A workhorse of the railroads that has changed little since the 1020's. A compact self-propelled one-operator unit able to revolve 360 degrees with no overhang fouling adjacent tracks. Power is supplied by a 6 cylinder engine capable of 25 MPH. Lifting capacity is 5 to 7.5 tons. Overall weight is typically 41,000 pounds. Manufactured by Burro Crane, Inc. of Chicago.
